This was an interesting sight when we stopped at a rest area in VA. The couple explained that their rental car's bumper just fell off on the interstate by itself. While we were there, the rental company delivered another car via tow truck. The man asked the rental agency for a Lambo to compensate for the 2 hour delay. You can guess it: replaced with a Nissan.

wow.. I was driving on 77 one day and there was a nice shiny new ladder laying in the middle of the freeway... not further past that I saw the truck parked just off the off ramp and the guy running back- guess his ladder fell off. I really hope he was able to get it--- not sure I want to think about him dodging the cars on 77 to get it!!

I bet it was the idiot I used to work with, He always lost his 40 footer on the highway, sadly other cars had a feast with it before he could get to it...lol

Lambo? Damn, it costs about $500 per day. Sorry, mate but I can give you a $25 gas prepaid card instead.

I'll bet that bumper was already busted, did shoddy work to reinstall it. Things may fall off a vehicle, glad it didn't result in a bad situation for you!

Car bumpers are weaker in new cars... it's not like the old school cars with stronger bumper that can stand minor impacts.

Even small impact can be expensive repair in newer cars. I'm surprised that happened when it fell off... it's embarrassing if that happens to anyone.
