Strange white flags on Brooklyn Bridge

I wonder if a political statement meaning USA is not a strong country anymore ? That we are 'washed up' .



I saw on the news that someone climbed up the flag pole and poured bleach on the flags . I thought that was how this happen.

For what is white flag? The Taliban Flag is a white flag? Or A white flag is also a sign of a truce or cease-fire?

Yeah but it's strange that no one came forward to say why they bleached out the American flags. If we do not know what kind of message the people are trying to send what was the point of doing this ?

Also. How heck did someone got the flag to set up that prettttttttty high on the bridge. How??? Bridge does have secured gates not to let anyone to walk over it. :shock: I'm concerned about the flag that may have something like a message.

it's easy to climb up there. yes there are gates but you can just simply climb over it

it's easy especially for them. just go around it or whatever. they're probably very athletic and acrobatic.

no idea. nobody knows the intention.

few theories -
1. cyclists surrendering bridge path to pedestrians
2. white flag to try to bring end to what's happening in Israel-Gaza because that area at the end of bridge (Brooklyn side) is very strong Jewish community.
3. just some punk prank
4. ???
 
It's pretty frightening that people could get past the security set up on that bridge. It's definitely a slap in the face for the people in charge of security.
