Woman's dumb Facebook post gets her in trouble

Another one that stupidly posts on Facebook...




Back in 2012, Colleen Cudney was convicted for drunken driving. As part of her punishment, she was put on probation and so on the day after St Patrick’s Day, the 22-year-old was ordered to come to her Westland, Michigan probation office for a random breathalyser test. She managed to pass it and celebrated the good news on Facebook. That Facebook post, as WDIV Local 4 News reports, was a pretty stupid move.

Investigators told WDIV she posted, “Buzz killer for me, I had to breatalyze this morning and I drank yesterday but I passed thank god lol my dumba**.” There’s a lot of problems with this status update. Why don’t we go over them?

I know you meant “breathalyze,” but that isn’t a word.

OH AND YOU AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE DRINKING BECAUSE YOU WERE CONVICTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING.

Cudney’s post gained the attention of a Westland police officer, who then notified the probation office. Did the probation office then say something like, “Oh well, she got us. She wins this round”? No. They called her up and told Colleen they wanted her to take a urine test, something that would detect whether she had had alcohol in the previous 80 hours. Colleen then hung up on the probation officer. You’re not supposed to do that.

Some just never learn.....

I really dislike people who do not take drinking and driving seriously. I've seen some reports where people have had 5,6 DUI's and are still driving. They're driving illegally but their out there.

As for this girl, stupid move. People need to stop telling facebook everything.

So was the cop creepin her fb or just how dId her fb post come to a police officers attention?
So someone ratted her out or she has a secret cop stalker either way it's all rather..........
Probation really damn probation is so easy its so hard, parol well.....
Having said that I don't think really it's in the tax payers interest to put her int he grey bar hotel, for this, I mean it does cost money, and she seems to be the type that will be back in anywY,

Afraid yes! I agree with you and I see the downside of high technology. It appears that old school society tend to be more careful and learn somebody's else mistakes while today society, people aren't as careful as it used to be, and won't learn somebody's else mistake... The only difference between today and then that I could see is today, everything is with full safety features (Mostly new technologies) where back then there wasn't any safety feature exists. For example, you won't find 50's cars with seat belts, even most 60's cars too, no air bag, and the dashboard is made of STEEL!

Oh, when I was kid, I ride bicycles all the time and never heard of wearing helmet or knee/elbow pads, even when training!

I think the problem with the idea of excessive safety features leads to human mind's thinking, everything is safe, why bother, when can call high technology to the rescue?

Policemen are always checking Facebook b/c they know people love to brag on line about the crimes they got away with. There are a lot of dumb people out there.

What a dumb-ass.... When will people realize everything they put online is public information?! Stop being stupid people, stop being stupid... *smh*
