Wrong teen arrested. Cops not doing their jobs correctly

Yeah...been all over the news here...Green Cove Springs (Clay County/Orange Park) is very close to where I live....If that happened to my son, I'd be livid and get a good lawyer and sue the pants off of 'em....
 
It happens to often and then takes months or even years to clear up.
Unfortunate ending is that it ends up on computers and people can never be rid of wrong information about them.
 
A little off topic, sorry......

I have to admit there are some very bad cops out there. BUT there are great ones too. My two brothers are cops. My oldest brother got attacked in the jail by a 3 strikes inmate serving a life sentence for murder. This jerk had nothing to lose. He slammed my brother into a wall bashing his head in. My brother needed immediate brain surgery and has a steel plate in his head today. He is disabled and so not the person he use to be. Now his wife just divorced him.

My younger brother needs shoulder surgery, took four cops to get this guy handcuffed and in the process my brothers shoulder was injured. People who are high on meth and other drugs have incredible strength. Both my brothers are huge, built and this still happened.

With the drugs today, people are getting more violent. Cops are only human and yes make mistakes.

There are a lot of cops out there that should not be cops. I feel really bad for this kid being punished when he was completely innocent.
 
I hope the teenage boy that was innocent was able to catch with his school work and had that his named cleared so will not mess in life when he is out looking for a job later in life. Cops are good at screwing up a person life by making a false arrest.
 
Feel a lot of times Cops are pressured to make an arrest ASAP....where this happened, there has been so many, many Child Predators/Molesters & abuctions...

I concur that the majority of police are excellent. In fact, my next door neighbor is a county deputy. I like to post the most extreme such as what I just found tonight:

Bystander: ‘I Thought I Had Freedom of Speech Here.’ Officer: ‘You Don

Yes, it seems some criminals are more violent today. But, what is happening more often today than in the past is innocent people getting killed, injured, arrested or rights violated.

I would love to pick on corrupt politicians or criminal religious leaders, except it is not allowed here. :lol:

Nothing is new with police. And nothing is new with how people behavior that make police nervous. :)
 
Another example why I refused support execution on any con… Due to system proves still imperfect. Too many flaws, innocent people get hurt or killed. This includes war on drugs which needs to end too.
