I wonder if he just didn't think it through or he did and still thought it was a good idea?
It's not his skin color that is the problem. There are white guys who are just as stupid."thinking it through"??.......maybe he thought his swing with the bat was faster than the speeding bullet.....
And I'm wondering why so many African-Blacks are in our prisons?.....
For people who aren't familiar with gun shops (and pawn shops that sell guns) they don't realize that the staff personnel are wearing loaded sidearms.
It seems he failed to grasp some fundamentals. Like people that own gun stores might, you know, have some guns
Hard to believe given what they're charged with protecting. He's lucky he wasn't shot. I can only imagine what his family was thinking when they got the call from the station and heard the charges from the police. Maybe "He's always been such a good boy...."

What about the personnel in the firearms departments of the chain stores? Are they armed? It's been a while since I've been to a Cabelas in person, so I don't remember.
pretty much in all gun stores - staff personnel are always armed... at least based on all gun stores I've been to in several different states except big chain stores like Cabelas.

I thought that in order to have a license to sell guns in a retail store the dealers had to be armed?yea that's what I mean. I don't think they're armed. might be prohibited due to store policy?

Good question--store policy or guns sales law?
