I've never heard of that before either. It is strange. I assume it's probably to help prevent the number of people who drink and drive home after the hockey game.

Texas is Beer and Wine only on Sundays. Liquor by the bottle is only sold in liquor stores here and those have to be closed on Sunday.

I keep the bar stocked so no biggie.

Good thing I taped the Canada-USA game due to work commmitments and I got to see the entire game and was smirking from ear to ear, happy as heck that Sid the Kid scored the overtime goal to clinch Olympic gold for Team Canada... that was an excellent game for sure and I think Team USA will be eager to try again in 2014... and I bet Team Canada will also work hard to ensure another possible repeat....
