I watched LSU almost got upset by Miss State.
While the Tigers were leading 30-24, with about 4 minutes to go, Miss State moved their ball nicely to LSU 1. On 3rd down and goal, the pass to wide open TE was broken up by Chad Jones. Then on 4th down and 1, the QB sneak was stuffed by Jones. |

It was scared for a moment that he wasn't moving at all for a minute. But he got up okay then he got woozy and was later brought to the hospital. It might been a concussion but not sure yet till a later news announcement from the hospital. He was actually quite sick before playing... a respiratory illness (flu).
Anyway, it was not from a hard yet clean hit by Kentucky defensive end Taylor Wyndham but actually caused from hitting his head (helmet) onto his teammate's knee that whip-lashed his neck. Gators were near perfect in the first quarter... 31-0 and had 248 yards total while Ky had -1 yard all done in the 1st quarter then Ky scored a TD in the second quarter. In late third quarter the Tebow hit happened and Brantley, a second quarterback scored a TD. The final score was 41-7. I hope that Tebow recovers well... also we have about 30 players battling flu). We have a bye weekend next week which we desperately need to rest and heal... will play LSU on Oct. 10th! LSU boldly escaped Miss. State by a goal line stand 3 times by the way. I think LSU lucked out but I'm glad that they won so we play them there. ----------------- More upsets added up... #4 Ole Miss, #5 Penn State, #6 California, #9 Miami, and #17 Houston were all defeated over this weekend... only Top three teams remain real solid so far. |

Though this month, September is probably the most upset month so far... in the past it was usually the month, October... still more games to go. I think the top threesome will stay strong throughout, more likely. USC and Cal were the biggest upsets to the date, I think... agree? It might repeat like that crazy 2007 season just as I stated before. |

Well all the losses occur in October because they get into their own conference schedules. Much more at stake and bigger rivals. It is much less common for big schools to be getting upset in September- they rarely schedule a "possible" upset that may take them out of National Championchip race early on.

Is Bobby Bowden on his way out of FSU after this season?
Chair of board of trustees calls for Bobby Bowden's head at Florida State - ESPN
What do u think? FSU is 2-3 (0-2 in ACC) this year so far. I checked their schedule with seven remaining games. Six out of the games are real tough teams so it could lead FSU to finish 3-9 at end of this season. |
