Update....
Vancouver has swept St. Louis out of the playoffs with a 4 games to 0 series victory and will now wait for the 3 other Western Conference series to be done for the re-seeding... Pittsburgh is 1 game closer to ending Philadelphia's season with a 3 games to 1 series lead.... Detroit also is 1 game away from a sweep vs Columbus... New Jersey and Carolina are tied 2 games each.. San Jose looks to win game 3 and reduce Anaheim's series lead from 2-0 to 2-1 unless Anaheim storm back... SJ leads by a score of 4-3 in game 3 in the 3rd period tonite ... |

Ok here the updates for the playoffs:
Eastern Conference Boston has swept Montreal out, 4 games to 0 NY Rangers leads Washington 3 games to 2 with Game 6 tonite Pittsburgh has crushed Philadelphia 4 games to 2 New Jersey leading Washington 3 games to 2 with Game 6 tonite Western Conference Anaheim leading 3 games to 1 on San Jose with Game 5 last night (I have to see the rest on tape..) Detroit swept out Columbus 4 games to 0 Chicago leads Calgary 3 games to 2 Vancouver sweeps St. Louis 4 games to 0 SO now to wait for the rest of the series to finish up tonite or tomorrow and then we will know who is set for the 2nd round.... |

OK update for the Conference semifinals:
Eastern Conference Boston leads Carolina 1 game to 0 with Game 2 tonite... Washington leads Pittsburgh 1 game to 0 with Game 2 on Monday (tomorrow) Western Conference Chicago and Vancouver are tied 1 game apart, Vancouver won game 1 and Chicago won game 2... Game 3 is on Tuesday night.... Detroit leads Anaheim 1 game to 0 with Game 2 this afternoon today... |

Yup! Carolina and bawston had trouble trying to win, Carolina won when there was a minute left in first OT.

The Conference Finals have been set... Pittsburgh and Carolina indeed will meet but this is the first time they met in the playoffs... so that gonna be interesting to see the Staals battle each other, Jordan for Pittsburgh ad Eric for Carolina... should be wonderful...
Detroit and Chicago last met in the playoffs back in 1995, in the Western Conference Finals in fact.... so this would be the 16th time the teams met... I gonna root for Chicago to bust Detroit up and go on!!! Go Blackhawks GO!!! |
