Remember that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh all signed for less than maximum salary so that they would all be together and win championship. See Bulls would've gotten LeBron and maybe Wade too, but they failed. Miami got them. Miami did a better job than Bulls.

Also, remember when LeBron signed with Miami? If you were 25 years old and had opportunity to make millions of dollars, where would you go? Cleveland? Miami? Chicago? Somewhere else? Why would someone want to work in Cleveland when they would work in Miami?

Miami did it right. Reel in star players, then have others who would probably maybe $3 million somewhere else sign with Miami for $1 million for chance to win championship.

Life is unfair. I don't care about Miami, but they didn't break any free agency rules or salary cap rules. They planned and recruited better than anyone.
Cavs had offered to sign James to a six-year contract for about $125 million but he splited the Heat cap space evenly with Bosh and Wade, the most James signed a 6 years and about $100 million. More money than Miami salary. why he not interested to play with Cavs. So he made mistake and should return to cleveland. But he s too late to re sign.

I think it is a change of culture that isn't appreciated by a lot of NBA veterans. Jordan, Barkley, Magic, many other people voiced their opinion against this three top draft pick team.
Jordan said it very well in his quote (I posted it in #21 of this thread) that he was against it.

Back in LeBron's "The Return" when Heat played on Cav's home in December 2010, LeBron got booed big time and many strong signs the fans gave him.

You can see some of the reactions here:
Mo Williams ignore LeBron. His team and ex-coach tell him to "shut the f* up" (read his lips)

Commentator says: He has never seen fans booing and electrified like this in 25-30 years of his time reporting. LeBron made a huge effect on his home state.
