Tennessee Titans rocks :)

I do love NASCAR myself, but the early days of NASCAR Nextel Cup in the 1950's, men raced cars that were just bought off the dealer and taken to the track without any changes made to it. Nowadays the present Nextel Cup cars does not look like the one you can get off the dealer floor. What dealer has a rear-drive Ford Taurus with a V8 in his showroom? No.
If NASCAR wants Nextel Cup to stay true to its roots, I say its time to bring the Aussies in since their V8 Supercars does look like the Falcons and Holdens people can buy the next day after the races. Also the races are more interesting because it is not just oval tracks. The V8 Supercars run on road courses. Craig Lowndes' Ford Falcon BA V8 Supercar: Greg Murphy's Holden Commodoer VY V8 Supercar: (the Aussie equal of Chevy) http://www.v8supercar.com.au If NASCAR adopted the V8 Supercars format, I would love to see the Chrysler 300C Hemi, Ford Mustang, and the Pontiac GTO battle it all out on the Nextel Cup tracks But that's wishful thinking

Yes it would be very interesting to see these V8 supercars run on Nascar's tracks...although, I do believe these sort of cars are more thrilling to watch on the type of courses they now run...with the agility they possess on winding curves, etc....With the setup now in Nascar, it's more of a trend and a favorite pasttime, racing, pit-stop times, the various tracks and the fans is what makes Nascar interesting, fun and entertaining to watch!!

Now that Jeff Gordan has won back to back races...how many of you would think he may win the next race at Richmond International Speedway; Chevy American Revolution 400? Nahhhhh...he better not!! Sorry Cheri... but your driver now has won two...*dialing up Jeff Gordon...umm, sir, you're wanted OFF the track....* *ahems*...letting someone else win this one....who? Who seems likely to have a good chance winning this next one?

I would LOVEEEEEEE to say that Sterling Marlin is gonna win this one...*shrugs*, but I guess not....I wouldn't be surprised if Matt Kenseth, number 17 wins it...or Jimmy Johnson, number 48 or Dale Jr., number 8 win it...but we may be in for a surprise this weekend...as this race will be held in the evening...and I have a 'gut' feeling that someone who hasn't won yet this year will win it this Sunday..... |

Oh really? I missed last Sunday's race as I had to be somewhere else...if I had seen Kasey Kahne, the number 9 car, doing as well as he was as you stated, I sure would have cheered him on....*pass him, passssss him!!*...ya know? Pass Jeff Gordon....!! I'll miss the very beginning of the next race, but I'll be able to see it before it ends...*chantin', number 40, 40, 40!*....

I was really pissed off at the rules in Talladega race on April 25. Dale Jr and Jeff Gordon were fighting to get the final lap, and then there was a little stupid accident in last 2 lap to go. I was hoping Dale Jr would win the race, but the officials choose Jeff Gordon to win the race.. Pretty Suck!! It is ONLY 2 more lap and they should change the yellow flag to green and let them finish the last 2 laps... It sucks..
I am a BIG fan of Dale Jr... Budweiser is good for your health... Not Miller's.. |

They would most likely have been able to have a 'restart' after the caution was implemented on lap 4 or 5...but the 'other' reason why they didn't have the restart is for the fact that the majority of the fans in the stands who were rooting for Dale Earnhardt Jr. had thrown all sorts of litter such as pepsi cans, cups, etc...out onto the track...which kept the 'yellow' to stay on for the remaining part of the race! Also, once a caution is initiated (started), the field is frozen, which means that whatever position the driver is currently in, stays IN that position...and they (Nascar officials) stated that Jeff Gordon was in fact the leader at the time when the yellow came on...some ppls. do disagree to WHERE Earnhardt was at the time of the yellow as for he had stated that he never saw the yellow being on when he was ahead of Jeff Gordon....but it's the decision of Nascar that is final...the way I see it...Jeff Gordon was VERY VERY lucky to be a half-car length ahead of Earnhardt Jr. where the officials say he was at at the time of the 'yellow'....Next time, Earnhardt Jr. will be the 'lucky one'....

Yea... I was totally disagree with the NASCAR official, and I am with the people. I was rooting for Dale Jr.. Everyone want Dale Jr. to win the race.
I would throw my beer bottle at Jeff. He is a whinny, he always whine and he always want to win and no one doesn't want him to win. Go Dale Jr! Go Dale Jr! |
