Moonflower.. I think that Ketucky Derby is at 5 pm est (unless I am wrong on the time however...) this Sunday .... it on NBC.... |

hello again! yes i saw that tv all day! wow! there are many races before 5pm!
yes i saw 8 belles! sad news! how it broke thier ankles? i didnt see on those race.. i cant catch it.. i will find out more later.. but i pick 5 horses to win.... so far, yes big brown won! that one of my picked.. i picked big brown, bob black jack, smooth air, colonial john, pyro.. that it.. |

Anyway, It's unfortunate to know Eights Belle has been euthanized. She gave it her all and might and she got to be a runner up which is the highlight of the Derby. I have been to the Churchill Downs and to the Derby itself so many times. I can tell u that the place is always festive and vibrant. I've always loved going there. Heck, You could see some celebrities there.

i found youtube video for that accident .. what i saw.. jockey did nothing! no mistake!
wow! only just broke itself.. that all! no blame at all.. oh well * to honor * 8 Belles. yup , next is peakness stakes.. that is on the second legs of triple crown.. let see who in.. i know big brown is in.. |

8 belle .. there is a more news now..
they said it has nothing wrong on that horse.. just broke ankles that it.. no drug no heart plm no other stuff.. so it means it something related to mis step or just broke as same all other horse normal accident.. oh well! |

Who is going to watch the Preakness in Pimlico tomorrow? Is there anybody here who completely detested 8 belles being euthanised? It was sad that it all went down right on the track. I didn't realize they received steroids so often as 2 and 3 yr olds; although I hear the steroid 8 belles regularly received was not a banned substance in any way. Someone please correct me if i am wrong with any of this, I still consider myself novice on this.

hohdoug, big brown only got steriod.. 8 belles got none of that.. 8 belles just broke itself.. just like all other horses who broke ankles at thier backyard.. that common... big brown's trainer admit that he did steriod to that horse (big brown)..
he will be big trouble soon! wait and see.. all other horses didnt get steriod at all.. so that good.. if i am a jockey i will speak out anyway.. that will teach everyone lesson.. |
