The Ultimate Fighter back-to-back this Thursday, Matt Hamill, and more

A heads up - this Thursday, there is 2 back-to-back TUF espiodes running from 10pm-12am on SpikeTV. They will do all 3 semifinals that night, so it's a pretty big night. .

What about next week Thursday, before the UFN (Ultimate Fighter Night) on 24th? They're going to re-run the same espiodes mentioned above. Not sure why they're doing this.

On Satursday the 24th, they'll do a TUF marathon all day, before the UFN card itself. I checked the guide, it looks like UFN is going to be 3 hours long.

Did Tito take Matt Hamill under his wing as he said he would? Looks like he did - check out this pix:

The above pix was labeled "Training camp" - Tito training for his fight against Ken Shamrock on Juluy 8th. This is the Tito's new "Team Punishment". Awesome eh?

Matt Hamill is there, among with Kendall and Solomon "What Happened? Who Won?" Hutcherson (yup, the whole stupid "Team Dagger" thing). You can also see one more pix of Kendall and Hamill in Tito's myspace here

Looking forward to the next few weeks.. the TUF semifinals night, the UFN live card, then UFC PPV!

Cool pic. Matt joined Tito's team? Matt used to working with Jorge Gurgle (fomer TUF2) and Rick Franklin. That would be nice if Matt join Tito's Team Punishment cuz Tito was cool guy I met at Mohegan Sun Casino for UFC events...and Matt would help his team to be bettet takedown team.

Yesh about TUF Live...Matt should be there. We will find out more after this thursday. Only one figher I dont wanna to see is Noah who gave up and left from TUF to be with 3 months girlfriend. I knows nice romance guy but just 3 months?! Come on, Noah. LOL

I wonder did UFC host at Philly or Wash DC... I noticed UFC always host small arena or under casino hotel such as MGM Grand or Moheang Sun Casino... Why is that?

Most likely DC and Maryland bans any UFC style aka MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)...and there got more than 10 states that bans.

Connecitcut banned any UFC stuffs aka MMA but CT can't touch anything with Indians Reservation's Mohegan Sun Casino where UFC host there few times. I attended all of UFC there...yeeeaaaa better than PPV!...cuz live people and chance to meet the fighters. Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture and Matt Hughes that I met. Awesome experinced!

I just watched some of IFL last week on FSN channel (just learned FSN shows PRIDE highlights too.. I officially love PRIDE now!).

IFL is an awesome concept, but they need to get more exciting fighter and more well-known fighters onboard. It would be awesome if the MMA world pits Ken Shamrock against Tito Ortiz yet again in IFL, using their fighters (Lion's Den vs Team Punishment)

One can only dream...

Matt is more of a fighter. I don't think he wants to wrestle. I would not want to wrestle for something that is fake. I want to fight for something that is real.

Sorry, my mistake. I meant to say the 24th. I slipped out 28th because UFC has another event planned on that date as well, but it's not the Ultimate Fighter Finale night.

Lots of discussion about that on Sherdog forums.

He's not really kicked out per se.. he's placed on suspension by NSAC (Nevada State Athletic Comission) due to injuries.

Anyone who experience concussion from a fight is automatically put on suspension for at least 10 days (if I understand it correctly).

As to why no one told him.. there's some theories being discussed on Sherdog..

Maybe they cannot say anything at the hospital due to secretive nature of the taped show.. don't want the doctor to leak the info out to outsiders or something like that.

Maybe he went to the hospital on his own and came back to the gym directly.. therefore no contact with anyone who would have told him the news.

Maybe he's already told the news.. but simply forgot.. he was having memory problems due to concussion.

That would make for a great interview question.. "How could you not know until you arrive at the gym?" and see what he says

Regardless, I think it made for great TV when he arrived back. Bisping's facial expression was priceless.. "Um.. how do we break this news to him?"

Quitan Jackson left PrideFC to join World Fighting Alliance (WFA www.wfa.tv ) here...he will face Matt "Law" Lindland along Bas Rutten vs Kimo next month. Darn, UFC didn't get Jackson as woulld face Chuck "Iceman" Liddell...hmmm, might be reason he joined WFA to avoid face his teammate Tito Ortiz?. Yup. he beat Liddell on PrideFC's Grand Prix finals few year ago.

Josh Barnett was former UFC HW champion before drug test positived after beat Rany Couture and UFC stripped then Barnettt left to join Japan's Pancrase (present champion) and PrideFC. Now, he will fighting toughest fighter with hardest chin, Mark Hunt on PrideFC's Grand Prix Critical Countdown with final 8 fighters next month with Wanderia Silva, Cro Cop, Big Nog, others. These guys would improve Matt's bettter with striking and grappling.

Let see if Matt get any improving when he face TUF3 Jesse Frobes this satruday...yes, they won't be on tv live. I will check the MMA website after the TUF3 Live.

Exactly. Which is why I doubt the rumor that Matt's in CT is true, especially with all the photos that shows Hamill is obviously traning with Team Punishment.

Why would he go there in CT?

Hamill is not really marketable by WWE's standards either. UFC's standards.. sure.
