I would love to research about my family tree...I think we have to pay for it...
http://www.familysearch.org/ http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/ http://www.myfamily.com/ (create your own family website - thought this one is interesting also) http://www.familytreeguide.com/ http://www.ellisisland.org/ http://www.onegreatfamily.com/Home.a...family+tree%22 http://www.connectedfamily.net/?PC=1...FSU1GAodtQMpmA http://www.sleepingdragonwebdesign.com/oscar/ You could go googling and type: "family tree website" at mozilla firefox... Hope this is what you are looking for...Good Luck! |

I used to be a member. I did get a lot of information from the site.
The Mormon site is free. The information there is more limited, and you need to double check it (they're not so careful about accuracy) but it's a good starting point. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Sear...set_search.asp Also, I use this software: http://www.familytreemaker.com/ It helps keep everything organized in an easy way. |

A few years ago, I read that massive and oldest records are kept in a largest storage in Utah. Most ancestry websites are linked a website that came from Utah. Most websites do not reveal where they keep the information. You can visit there, and I have no idea if you have to pay to go in the building.
A website used to show us the pictures of inside the building, or let you to look up your family history. I do not remember the name of the website. I wish that I could have more time to find the website for you. Try on google or other Yahoo's search to find one in Utah. Good Luck. |
