ASL sentence structure.
Hi - I'm AnnKatherine. I'm a hearing teenage girl who has been learning ASL for around 5 years now.
My concern now that I'm actually branching out and meeting new deaf/HoH people is that they may be offended if I continue signing in SEE (Signed Exact English) where I just sign things word for word as I would say them. I'm not so much interested in learning new words as I am learning sentence structure that's unique to ASL. I was wondering if anyone here had any tips for me? Thank you! |
