Hi
I am looking learning cued speech. Ok I have printed off the cued speech charts for american english. And have learned the handshapes but am having trouble putting cues along with my speech. Are there any cuers in new zealand? |

I myself cannot speak for New Zealand, but would be happy to make some inquiries for you. ![]() The UK site has some on line lessons. Perhaps in the interim it might clarify some of the system for you. http://www.learntocue.co.uk/player_content.html This site also offers a CS tutor. http://cuedspeech.com/

I never seen any cuers in New Zealand.
You could try contacting one of the Deaf Schools: Kelston Deaf Education Centre in Auckland or Van Asch Deaf Education in Christchurch. Perhaps they might know someone who to contact about cued speech. Or try Deaf Aotearoa New Zealand (formerly known as "Deaf Association").
