i like ASL University. Free, animated and easy. Also called Life Print. The instructor is good. Has Deaf wife, he is Deaf or HOH, forget which.

Honestly, online classes are not really the best way to learn ASL...IMO.

Agreed! very much.
Online or just alone with a book are good supplements to actual ASL Instruction and interaction in the D/deaf community but should never be the main way of trying to learn ASL.
