Hello everybody
I'm a ASL student and I was wondering if you heard or have the book " The handshape dictionary". I saw in Amazon.com that this dictionary is publish in 1992... do you know (if you have it) if the signs are toooooo old? I want to k now because I want to buy it. Lots of times I see a sign and it is hard to find out what it means, so it would be great to have a dictionary searching by handshape... do you know also one online??? thanks |

Handshape dictionary
Hi. I bought the book. It's expensive but worth it as I am unaware of any other book that lets you look a sign up by how it is made rather than the English word attached to the sign.
I am not sure if it is the most current sign reference, but I haven't found a sign that was out moded in it yet. I wish that it was available in an e-book, or computer program version. At some point I might make a similar e-book, but for copyright reasons, won't be a copy of this book. I hope that this helps. |
