Translation help

How would one sign the English phrase, "No good deed goes unpunished" - is there an equivalent in ASL? (thinking of the song from Wicked by the same same title).

Hmm, it's hard to translate an ASL phrase into written English but...:

/raised eyebrows/
good
action/do

/pursed lips, shake head/
*emphasis* guaranteed
always
(move handshape from 'always' in half circle in front of body, like it is going around and coming back)
(use handshape from always to sign 'punish')

*shrugs* at least this is how I would sign it
