Minneapolis area?

I am looking for new friends who are deaf and can assist with learning ASL for everyday life. I have progressive hearing loss and a HA which does not improve things much.

I live in the Minneapolis area and have taken a class Normandale CC for beginning ASL. Struggling. Anyone out there from the Twin Cities?

Sure..... did you grow up with ASL or learn it as an adult? Do you know of any "sign language immersion programs" around our area?

If you look around you will find a huge Deaf community in the Twin Cities. I miss there sometimes.
