So NOT a Princess!

loml, sorry this is a poor example of cued speech being a pancea. Look at where the program is......It's in a wealthy suburb.....the type where parents are very very involved and achievement (ie going to an IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL) is almost garenteed. Show me a school in Appalachia or in the inner city that uses cueing, and has raised literacy and test scores b/c of it and then I'll be impressed!

What's matter with that Mantua Elementary School?
Mantua Elementary School is an excellent program with ASL for deaf students.... I am gonna to contact Fairfax County Public Schools to cancel the CS program at Canterbury Woods Elementary School. Thanks for informing me, ioml... |

deafdyke,
My intent was simply to show that it can be done. Cueing is becoming, imo, more accepted as an additional tool for deaf childre. I hope indeed one day deafdyke inner city schools have access to tools that make for a successful education. It just takes one.
