Sex Offender is your enemies?

I have read and seen on the news about sex offender made mistake and people hate sex offender. It just weird and beside I am not sex offender. Sometime I think people are made big deal compare the murder and sex offender. I ask one person if person has hate and which will come hate the first: Murder or Sex Offender? The person answer is Sex Offender. I asked, "Aren't you worry if the murder will come to you if he or she live on the same street?" Person just walk off. It just a strange that people made big deal. I don't care if person did the crime and admit that mistake to accept the price and moving on to not do that again. I would like to know who is and what happen to people on my street. So that way I can beware if something went wrong such as rape then I can assume that person or not. Really, everyone made mistake due what lacking on their mind. I sometime think once person is lie then should label Lair Offender. So that way person come in for job and they can't hire pereson due not sure if person telling the truth or not. It made no big deal about whatever the offender. Right now, I heard in my home town start overwhelem about the Sex Offender and the crimes. Most of the time the people who live on street same where sex offender live and want omit that. Even person didn't nothing but just follow the rules due the court. Oh well, it just bother me and why can't people accept the mistake..

It would probably depend on the offense that this person has made.

Well, personally i believe that sex offender is the most common issue going on right now.

in most states if a sex offender commit a crime they'll be in prision for short time.. then they're free to leave. This is a major problem going on right now and many viticims or parents of victims are arguing to have sex offender to have put in life in prision on their first crime they commit.

in most case after the sex offender is free from jail. they'll do it again within 1 year

So, personally i believe sex offender is worse than murder because there's high numbers of sex offender than murder does. and.. many sex offender commit murder after doing sexually with women or men.

Just like what happened to Dru S. case in northern minnesota.. and they're disscussing having a death pently against that sex offender because it happened in 2 states north dakota and minnesota.

About they do that again, and I research about that one. That true they lead to be murder to people. However; if person raise due not communicate or not know what is right and wrong. For example; I heard one person got blame for taking care of childern or young ages due assist them such as broke leg and daughter can't handle herself in bath. No mother due pass away and the family in long distance other state. He take care of her and then she told people how he take care of me. One person told and police put cuff on father. So the mother's family want him in jail and take care of daughter. So father didn't realize that one tiny can turn into big issue. Even if I am the father and I had daughter. I probably felt won't take care of daughter due high issue with sexual offender. So they got label as sexual offender and went counclor to see about it. He learn what is the right and what is the wrong. So he learn that father can help her daughter to set her sit on beside the bath. so he can leave her to un dress and get her bath herself. after she got into bath.. and then open little door if she need help for whatever such as get towel or anything near to the door that he can toss to her.

The counclor said most precent is doing again and only rare people learn the mistake that didn't know due the "lack of communicate". Is that still count? I just curious that one.

There other story I read in Iowa. One guy is 17 years old and date 15 years old girl in same high school. So they both went have sex and then sudden her parents report on him and turn him into sexual offender. That state is thinking about put him to death and even he told, "I love that girl whom she like me too." He got confused and the court system kind of choas.

Another story, I know one person who did on purpose for that and did end up and he proud of it. So it made the different because he knew did was wrong but if other person think nothing wrong due the family didn't there for person or what? It just wonder what cause and also the counclor said that something happen to that person's childhood have done to him and have not solve or communicate with family to heal the wound.

For your information

Most here in USA average is Murder and Rapist and why blame is Sex Offender? I will find the website and it has precent of each state of crime rates.

If person hate sexaul offender and when their one of childern is one of them. Will parent reject or still support if he or she didn't know that wrong to do it? Who is responible for the happening? I heard of many such as here Oklahoma complaint that sexual offender live same street. Happen one person drove and and young lady riding the bike. So he just pass by to the stop sign. Her father and other man came to him and open the door. The father drag him out from the car and blame him and almost death. Today, he rather stay in jail because of two people cause him nightmare. The court asked him if he see anything about it. He notice there is girl and he just move little far to not run over that girl riding the bike.

Do you think that like us or no one have not crime is worst than the criminal?

LEGAL WORKSHOP FOR THE DAY!

But these examples are not typical. Yes?

Should a child disclose some kind of touching the child welfare is mandated to investigate. So what happens next is that they interview the 'purported' offender. The Dad explains his side, there is a reasonable explanation, everything's cool. He has nothing to hide. And there is no charge against him.

I am assuming the second scenario is describing some type of broken age of consent law. Each state has differing age of consent laws. (In fact I think 17 is pretty high and Yes, preoblematic for teenagers becuase lots of 17-yr olds are sexually active .) The above story is NOT how age of consent laws were intended to be used.

Age of consent laws exist to protect children. The idea is that until a certain age, you do not have the independent power to consent. This is so that, for example, you can't have sex with a nine-year old and then say hey man! But she consented! It was mutual, no sexual assault here! She wanted to!
But the young can't consent. Especially when there is a power imbalance, such as that between an adult and a young person. Because many sexually-abused nine-year olds will say they wanted to: yes, I wanted to. Don't put me teacher/coach/boy scout's leader etc. etc. in jail.

This is a complex situation, esp. in terms of law.

But don't worry. The fact of the matter is, statistically, there are a million survivors of sexual assault who never get justice for every ONE guy who is accidentally accused.

From http://www.savisofhalton.org/Myths.htm

1. Statistics show that more than 98% of sexual assault allegations are true. Other crimes have a higher percentage of false allegations.

2. As with all types of charges before the Criminal Courts, not every sexual assault reported ends in prosecution and certainly not every prosecution ends in a conviction or a finding of guilt. Each case is dealt with on its own merits. It requires tremendous courage and strength to come forward and disclose sexual violence, and to participate in the criminal justice process. There is no statute of limitation for reporting and prosecuting sexual assault.

For more go to http://www.savisofhalton.org/Statistics.htm

Not opinion, just info.

Sex offenders should not be a part of society cuz many of them are predators to children as well as women and they often start out as peeping toms til they tire of peeping and "graduate" to raping women or abducting children for the purpose of sexual exploitation -- some offenders would go as far as murdering the victims -- so YES i do think sex offenders are worse

remember there are a variety of felony crimes that are committed by ppl that would range from homicides to aggravated assault with use of a deadly weapon -- in this post im not counting the drug busts but counting those where theres a suspect versus a victim

Personally I do think Sex Offenders are a big deal to me because The Victims did not ask for it to happened to them...How many Mistakes Can a Sex offender can make and thinking we should not make a big deal out of it? I am Tired of seeing repeat rapists and child molesters Out there. (Stike 3 Phrase)Some People Like Myself do not pretty much Like Sex Offenders and Do not think they made a simple Mistake..what can you do about the Victims? It can be so traumatic that the victims goes into shock... Some children who have been sexually abused by a parent experience this love-fear-shame-hate confusion...Sex offenders do not usually stop offending on their own.

Cheri,

You think that they cannot be mistake being sexual offender? It not always mean to be childern and it includes the male or female. Well, I wonder why is that big deal even those not aware about the wrong such as you are deaf and hearing people can talk behind your back. They set the agreement to made you look bad and scream that you touch their childern that you just holding the hand for due not walk cross the street without parent around the childern. So you decide to help or let the child figure out how to walk cross the street. Once you touch and then you will automatic sexual offender that you cross their border. That what I mean everything one tiny thing is out of issue. Specily if person did on purpose and want to do something and then no excuse for that.. but if you want to help but they made you look bad. What can you do about it? The person that I asked that kind question and he say.. let it go.. because parents are made big deal about it and it their responible to watch their own child.

I think sexual offender is big deal because even you didn't aware that you invade but the person didn't say anything until tale tell which is not true that you just give person a clothe or anything simple.. because today is made tiny into big thing.

Well IDeafSpy,

I think I understand what you are trying to say here and you are talking more about the sex offender and their rights....No matter what rights they have but the real issue here is being able to protect our love ones such as our children and for their safety ....I for one, would NOT be happy to know if a sex offender was living on my street, a lot of these sex offenders are known to repeat and the risk of this is not worth any child or young adult to go through the traumatic experiences....

I am aware of the laws relating to the issue about sex offenders having to register and that it differs from state to state....I personally feel that this system has many flaws....How would you feel if your own child, nephew or niece were to be approached by a sexual offender who was unknowingly living on your street and was trying to be too friendly or making unwanted sexual advances?? I would be very very furious and outraged!!....

Pity on the sexual offenders for they themselves made the mistake by picking a very very poor choice committing the crime, they may have enter programs or went and served a term in prison, but that don't mean our children are 100% safe from these people and that's my point here!

So the children need to be 100% to be safe but everywhere is not safe for children wander around the people. They might sit next to criminal, terrorist, and etc. So person just outraged toward other person and then they, court, will do something about behave due if person have no motive against this children or other person.

The court is interesting any motive that against person to get charge. It not always has to be male of sexual offender and it include woman. In here Oklahoma the highest criminal is women.

If your son or daughter is having sex in the home, car, or at the park with under the age or minor age guy or gal. Sudden, the person's parent tales tell on police and press charge to one of your children or my children to label as sexual offender. So will that lead to outrage over to the family member or what is this? I would be upset if my son or daughter gets those because of age and sex relationship issue.

Even I see everywhere the children clothes store have different clothes that I saw tong and just a tape on chest which not cover on shoulder or belly that age around that 10 year old and wander around the store. So is father doing the motive his own daughter?

How will I feel about my child approached by the sexual offender? What is this question even my child will not walk alone and have to be someone with him or her? About pity to the sexual offender and need careful what you to say because the court system is out of shape. Even you are not outrage to people who stare on child nude porn website that USA legal online. So how can you blame on sexual offender even person not being caught? Sometime I asked myself is everyone a sexual offender as invisible. I went to work and wonder are those people doing that stuff without caught.

Even other country is doing that stuff. Oh well, I don't support about the child porn website and everything the crime up or down here. The law should apply but not option or felt due outrage people out there even one street discover that person moved in their street was sexual offender happen in 25 years ago and want them person leave all the sudden. So they outrage and burn the house, grass and damaged the car. Is that property to do that or that sound more seriously than sexual offender do to us? Sometime I think they need to think before they do something to other criminal. Since the criminal pay their price and I believe it should be as second chance. There is group that support for any criminal to get second chance due the age in high school such as sexual offender. The reason I said that one of staff that works at deaf campus. They are providing what is “Sex Harassment”. So he doesn’t work there anymore due one of student report the false. The deaf campus discover the student was lied and that was about being touch on the shoulder to get that person attention.

The reason I am asking this question about enemies. Here, Oklahoma, been talking about sexual offender almost every morning before I go work. It has telling that citizen damaged the sexual offender’s home, car, and etc due lost their home. Even their record is old such as 20 years old and people made big deal about it. Person, the sexual offender, told on news that person has accepted the price and went treatment due the court order. So person learns a lot thing due from the family did to person. I feel like some day the house will be monitor under government due protect our children include us. There is no option about those what I just told. It already happen everyday from what I see due on the news.

Yea, I agree with you.. I feel sorry for the victims, and WHO CARES for sex offenders.

Long time ago, my next door neighbor is a registered sex offender, and he did to a 9 years old and his 12 years old niece. I am glad the girls told the judge, lawyers and jury who did to them, they pointed at him.

He is in the jail, maximum 25-45 years in the jail. He got 10 more years and he will be out. I got to move and find somewhere he can't find us or hurting my own precious children or my nieces and nephews.

This guy i was talking about didnt do that to children..he just stepped outside of his house stark naked and shook his wookie at the neighborhood lady so when she called the police, they said they cant arrest him unless they catch him in the act, well a couple of days later, he did it again in front of her !! the unmarked car was sitting there and videotaped him in the act so they had proof that he did it!! when we heard that, my husband said he aint no friend anymore!! What a sicko!! there could been some children in the neighborhood ya know?

Rape is an act of violence, power, and control.

Rape is often planned or carried out by intimate partners, acquaintances, family members, or strangers.

Rape is motivated primarily out of anger and/or a need to feel powerful by controlling, dominating, or humiliating the victim.

Survivors are not responsible for causing their assaults; only offenders are to be blamed for sexual assault and rape.

Rape is the fastest growing violent crime in The United States. (Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 1994)

In the United States, a woman is raped every 6 minutes. (Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center of the National Victims Center, 1992)

The rate of sexual assault in the United States is the highest of any industrialized nation in the world. (Reiso and Roth, 1993)

1 in 4 women will be a victim of sexual violence at some point in her lifetime. (Warshaw, R. 1988. I Never Called It Rape. Harper and Row).

1 in 6 boys will be sexually assaulted by age 18. (Walker, L. 1988. Handbook on Sexual Abuse of Children)

An estimated 92,700 men are forcibly raped each year in the United States. (Tjaden and Thoennes, 1998)

84% of all rapes are committed by someone known to the victim. (Warsaw, R. 1988. I Never Called It Rape. Harper and Row)

57% of all sexual assault occur during a date. (Koss, Wodruff, Koss study, 1990)

Rape remains the most underreported violent crime in the United States. (Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center of the National Victims Center, 1992)

That's the story.

well i have children and 1 of my children was the victim of a crime like that i can however see ideafspy point of view if a person did that and not know paid the price for and has not repeat offened then he does deserve a 2nd chance .....however with people in general i highly doubt he will get it ......if a person truly did not know it was wrong in the first place and now they know it is i am sure that the population in general cannot be as hard on them as they are on themselves....they will have to live with that knowledge for the rest of their lives ....not everybody they run into in life will know they did that but they will for the rest of their live...and if they are truly sorry that will be harsh punishment for them......

......if a person truly did not know it was wrong in the first place and now they know it is i am sure that the population in general cannot be as hard on them as they are on themselves.
I was talking about this to a friend of mine. We both know a kid who has profound social issues,(like one time he walked in on his RA when she was changing!) and if he did rape, he'd be like "I dunno what I did wrong!!!!" Like a lot of date rape, I believe is probaly caused by poor communication or poor interpersonal skills. Rape rape however........IS purely a thing of power.
I think they should get rid of the mild sexual offenses, like public urination,etc.....However, I think they should lock up violent rapists AND pedophilles forever!!!! Like have a private hospital for them.

Didnt you read what I said on my post? I said that ideafspy is my ex husband's roomate...my ex husband is CHILD MOLESTER CHILD MOLESTER CHILD MOLESTER CHILD MOLESTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally disagreed with you about giving them 2nd chance...didnt you know that 99% of sex offenders tend to fail their probation rules by touching children again then go back to prison for good?

First of all, my ex husband DID UNDERSTOOD that he was WRONG in the first place...he DENIED to everyone that he did not touch deeper...he is SICKO..and LIES LIES LIES...

Once sex offender is SEX OFFENDER FOREVER! They pay the price forever! However, THEY DO NOT DESERVE SECOND CHANCE WHATSOEVER!

When he and i were married for 2 years...I tried to have sex with him...he refused and rejected me...we barely had sex...most likely 2 times a month or in every other month...I caught him and he confessed that he was in the tub masterbated himself THINKING ABOUT LITTLE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, they will NEVER CHANGE! NEVER GET SECOND CHANCE!

Can you see why I DIVORCED HIM???????????

In my opinion, A registered sex offenders does not deserve a second chance, even if a sex offender made a mistake, How do I know that this person wouldn't do it again, I don't want to take that risk. I rather my children to stay away from registered sex offenders. If you have children, You might as well feel the same way as we parents feels

My apology if I was being hostile towards you...It is our rights to talk about anyone specific in here those who are friends with sex offenders or sex offenders of anyone who committed crime...

I understand your opinion but please understand that I am very sensitive about this issues..because of my past with sex offender husband!
