Smile Blessed sign language

Is sign language an alternative to spoken language ?
Is sign language is a totally different language ?

I would like to ask some deafies who don't want a CI (I'm hoh ,btw) this:
Why do you prefer sign language instead of getting a CI and learning speech ?
can sign language cover all of the benefits coming from oral communication ?

no offense please... I just want to learn your reasons for rejecting speech as the main communication tool .

Yes. That much is no longer under debate. Everything else is up for grabs.
