I am really no prude, I am not freaking about sex and naked bodies, that's fine with me,

but I am really disturbed by free display of erotic emoticons on this site.
See, the other day my young underage daughter was looking over my shoulder and here is blow job on the right. Another day another sexual activity emoticon on the right, and here's daughter having another peek over at what's mommy doing.

I really think these should be NOT displayed where children can see it, only in closed windows so whoever wish to use them will have to open it. That at least is some control.

I don't have anything against sexy emoticons, they are for people, just keep them away from little eyes, please..

These emoticons are harmless for adults, I don't think children should be exposed to them, and I am asking to keep them hidden, not removed.

You do not keep your porno magazines everywhere in the house, do you?

For today, these are available on the right:

:buk:
:buttsex:

I don't want my daughter to see them, why would she be forced to see tme if she is inetrested about what mommy's doing on the deaf site?

keep them in separate window! what's the problem?

Yeah, I understand what you mean.

Yes, I´m agree that dirty emoction is suppose to be hiddern area like what I suggest in my thread.

I have an 8 year old too.. I think erotic emoticons are really cool and far out.. but sometimes it does need to be hidden for the children's sakes. I'm open minded myself and would use dirty emoticons.. but I have to keep looking back to make sure my daughter isn't looking.. same with avatar nudities.. noooo offfeeennnssseee..!! I just think there should be another option like "adults only" with a password. whoever is free to look at.. they can go in there and enjoy! I would do the same!

by the way this already has been posted few times and we even have vote on it I believe most vote to keep it on this site. IF you dont like it then dont use it or ignore it. Right now I know there no way to keep that kind emoticons hidden for this board even at other types of boards out there. IF you had check the topics through archives you should have check it before post OTHER one. It kinda of annoying to see people post same topic over and over without use search. Just for your information, Alex already know about this and I am sure he may dont want to deal with it again.

Audiofuzzy is new here. Even me who have been a member of AD for over a year dont know how to access Achives or bring up old threads here.

I simply dont use AD when I am around my girls. My girls are almost 10 and 9 so I make it a point not to read postings on AD when they are around.

>>>IF you dont like it then dont use it or ignore it<<<

I don't mind them, I don't care about them, YOU please take care to read what is my problem:
that MY UNDERAGE DAUGHTER can see them and I don't like that.
It's like exposing her to dirty magazines around the house.. would you allow that?

They can be simply put away here:

it is much better to have them tucked away in separate window than have it on the display on the right..

That's all I am saying.

oh, and one more thing:
>>>It kinda of annoying to see people post same topic over and over without use search.<<

well yes I am sorry I haven't thought of archives,
but on the other hand that does prove I am not the only one objecting to the open display of these emoticons.
And that this is an ongoing problem..

Meg and all, thank you for supporting words.
BTW why should we be secretive with AD on the account of emoticons?

I am not doing anything wrong using AD- am I?
