My daughter (who lives across country) is expecting her first child (my first grandchild) and I would like to give my daughter some books/DVDs for teaching babies sign language.
As many here know, I am late-deafened and am currently learning sign language with my youngest daughter. I would like my oldest daughter to learn also and thought by giving her books/dvds to use to teach her baby...in case s/he will need it to communicate with me in the future, my daughter would also learn it.
I'm looking for suggestions for good books/DVDs for teaching babies.
I will also ask at Delaware School for the Deaf sometime when I'm there for class (I start Step 3 tonight...yikes
