TAMPA BAY, Florida– No one could believe it: A cat that was hit by a car, believed to be dead and then buried, came back to life.
According to WTVT, the cat, who some are calling ‘Bart the Zombie Cat,’ was pronounced dead by veterinarians. Bart’s family buried him in their backyard. Then, their neighbor was shocked when Bart showed up at his door.
The cat somehow dug himself out of the grave. Bart is being cared for at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The animal is being treated for a broken jaw and facial wounds. His eye had to be removed.
Bart The Miracle Cat has successful surgery! He was a brave boy and is now resting comfortably. He is spending the night with our good friends at Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service so he can be monitored. He will return to us in the morning and need a week or so to recover before going back home! Bart's story: http://humanesocietytampa.org/miracle-cat-comes-back-from-…/
