I've been wearing them (not the same ones ha) for years but that changed after getting a few sprained ankles, the last one being a month ago or so. Ouch. So I went out and bought the New Balance 1187 tennis sneaks. What a difference! (duh)

From now on I will be stick with tennis sneakers as they give me the grip I'm looking for and need for my fatass.

What's your favorite type of sneakers and why?

Basketball sneaks. They give me the support I crave. I like NB shoes, but don't have any at present. I have several Nike pairs in various stages of wear. And I think a pair of Reeboks that are just getting broken in. I also have some Skeechers, but think they are cheap and not well made.

LOL..guess what my favorite shoes are....nike air max. My latest pair is the 2011 and I will say they do hurt my heels compared to the 2009 "model". I to am a fat ***

I like Piloti and Puma driving shoes for hard core driving. The air max's are somewhat hard to sense the pedal through

I wear new balance sneakers. They're so light and comfortable. In the winter months, I wear boots.

Driving shoes? I love to drive barefoot. I'd do it more, but it puts pressure on my heel.

I like Adidas when I am playing ball. I like Asics alot for other stuff. NB's don't fit my feet well. They tear up my Achilles. I have some Nikes too but like you say they are not a stable shoe.

same here, it kills my right foot heel, and the gas pedal in my car is elevated higher than any gas pedal ive ever used. I literally have to lift my leg and hold it in a very uncomfortable position if im barefoot, so i bought some Felipe Massa edition Puma's and a pair of piloti's to "drive in ;)"

New Balance for walking. Converse for when not going on a long walk.

New Balance are doctor recommended. Converse All Stars, because they are collectible and have lots of neat printed fabrics.

My latest Converse have an owl on each shoe outside, and lots of little bird feet prints going around. The fabric color is pink.

I like Skechers especially the shape ups.
Am waiting to try Reebok and NB shoes that I ordered but have not arrived yet. Maybe I'll buy Adidas if I see one I like in the US.

Have not worn Nikes since I was a teenager! They don't appeal to me.

I use Puma for when I'm doing something active such as playing softball, running, etc. I wear my Nike Cortez Classics when I'm just out walking around. If I'm feeling more like a beach bum I'll slip on my plaid Vans slip ons or my Converse All-Stars.

In the end of things, I don't have a favorite sneaker, it's just whatever fits my mood and my environment that I will be in.

However, I am much more picky about my workboots. In the summer - Georgia Boot Mud Dogs. In the winter I wear Muck Boots - Wetland series.

Reebok ?Princess? walking shoes. Been wearing them for years. Whenever I need new ones I buy two pairs just in case they ever decide to stop making them.

Champion sneakers, I have high arches and don't like weight on my feet. Champions are the only ones I have found that can last me over a year and still not hurt. Everything else seems to hurt after a week.

I am a big fan of saucony sneakers and skechers sneakers. They both have more room for my wide feet in the front of sneakers. I prefer running sneakers only.

Last year my hub gave me the reebok running sneakers and It's OK. I still prefer saucony or skechers. I am dying to buy a puma sneakers ( only 1970's styles) in red suede. It's for my fun decoration along with all star converse sneakers and vans sneakers.

New Balance all-terrain models like the 474. I like NB for many reasons: can find them on sale at places like Kohl's for less than 50$; some of them are still made in the USA; they last a long time.

I used to wear Rebook, Adidas and Nike sneakers until my specialist told me to wear NB sneakers. Wow! What a huge difference! I have three pairs of NB sneakers which gives me a lot of comfort and most importantly, durability.

comfot sneakers

In the beginning..lol..the New Balance company produced sneakers for women specifically because women have narrower heels the men. Yep it is true and women were wearing these other brands and they never really fit correctly sliding in the heel. then when NB saw the way they were received..given the ok by podiatrists and orthopedic specialists, they started producing mens.

I like NB. and converse in may colors and designs ( like botts) and also vans.
but can't really say sneaks are my favorite footwear, none of them. but thats just me..Midnight♥♥♥

Wow lots of NB fans. I like them too....wish I could wear them.

The softer the shoes are, the worse they are for you.

Which is the reason I like really used shoes.

My softball shoes are about 8 years old and they are awesome.

I'm usually wear DC Shoes and sometime Nike Shox, especially for workout.

The best pair of shoes I own are my Italian-made hiking boots. They have literally saved my skin many times because they have such great support and traction when I am hiking in rough terrain.
