Israel and Palestine

It has been going on since Moses. Yeah, it's a shame. Alot of Muslims won't make peace until Israel is gone.

no. it has been going on since UN (mainly British and American) took land from people and gave it to Jewish people. that's in around 1948.

Jiro, is correct. Truman, is the one who actually created Israel, even Britain wanted it to be a two party state. It was after WWII that those reparations were made. And, it was an Israeli choice of where to settle. They could have taken residence in Germany, but they did not want it.

However, there was money payed to Palestinians for this, for land. The problem is that is it wasn't payed to everyone and there were religious factions who did and always will oppose it.

So, we are stuck with a bad situation that is not going to end well.

They want Israel gone because it's where Jewish people live. Supposedly Israel is gone, will they let Jewish people stay?

Regarding Moses, I was talking about hate between Jewish people and Muslims. It has been going on in Middle East for centuries and centuries.

I don't think this unfortunate situation will ever be solved. It's eerie that Zionists blew up UK military headquarter building (King David), and killed bunches of UK troops to drive them out of Israel. Now, they still want UK's support to fight against Hamas or Palestinians or whatever they are. Go figure.

No, it has been going on since Ishmael and Isaac. That temple wall existed way way way before 1948 bro.

The land of Israel used to ruled under Palestine and the Jewish population were minority. Prior to Palestine, it was under Ottoman Empire.

There was never a "country" of Palestine. It was a territory. It was a British controlled territory until the UN granted (by vote) the portion of this territory now called the nation of Israel.

It was never "stolen".

Palestine

The Zionist Organization submitted their draft resolutions for consideration by the Peace Conference on 3 February 1919. This shortly followed the Conference's decision that the former Arab provinces of the Ottoman Empire should be separated from it and the newly conceived mandate-system applied to them.

The statement included five main points:[24]

Recognition of the Jewish people's historic title to Palestine and their right to reconstitute their National Home there.
The boundaries of Palestine were to be declared as set out in the attached Schedule
The sovereign possession of Palestine would be vested in the League of Nations and the Government entrusted to Great Britain as Mandatory of the League.
Other provisions to be inserted by the High Contracting Parties relating to the application of any general conditions attached to mandates, which are suitable to the case in Palestine.
The mandate shall be subject also to several noted special conditions, including a provision to be inserted relating to the control of the Holy Places.

However, despite these attempts to influence the conference, Zionist were instead constrained by Article 7 of the resulting Palestine Mandate to merely having the right of obtaining Palestinian citizenship: "The Administration of Palestine shall be responsible for enacting a nationality law. There shall be included in this law provisions framed so as to facilitate the acquisition of Palestinian citizenship by Jews who take up their permanent residence in Palestine."[25]

that's what the victors say.

History of the Jews in the Ottoman Empire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

At the time of the Battle of Yarmuk when the Levant passed under Muslim Rule, thirty Jewish communities existed in Haifa, Sh’chem, Hebron, Ramleh, Gaza, Jerusalem, and many in the north. Safed became a spiritual centre for the Jews and the Shulchan Aruch was compiled there as well as many Kabbalistic texts. The first Hebrew printing press, and the first printing in Western Asia began in 1577.

The status of Jewry in the Ottoman Empire often hinged on the whims of the Sultan.

the past is almost irrelevant now. what's important and what matters right now is how Israel handles it. If Israel is to have a peaceful future, Israel will have to act wisely and with wisdom right now.

Simply just retaliating after attack is... well - weak to me. Bombing and leveling Palestine is a surefire way to ensure that Israel will eventually cease to exist as a country. Both British and Americans are already strained with 2 wars. Israel-Palestine thing is another war that they do not want to deal with and they may not be able to help them.

Just curious ... :hmm:

Have you ever spent any time in Haifa, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, et al for an extended duration?

Because you seem to know more about what Israel "should" do than the Israelis.

They have been doing this for a lot longer than you apparently.
