For those who have lost their hearing later in life, what sounds do you miss?

For me, it is
-a child's laughter
-rain
-classical music
-birdsong

Seems you said it all! I miss music the most, and laughter, the sound of it made me feel good.

sometimes snickers, counts at cheerleading lol some music not birds tho birds get on my nerves usually only in the early morning tho lol

*Hearing someone comment under their breath (Usually a source of unexpected entertainment)
*Music of all kinds
*comfort and/or loving whispers
*white noise (It's so much harder to get to sleep now!)

However, I DON'T miss these sounds

* I'm with the PP on birds. If I hear them, I'm up WAY too early, or in bed WAY too late.
* Hearing someone whine
* The emergency alert system tones
* Jingles for products.
