Theater chains won't show "The Interview"

I believe Terrorists win is the correct term. being the hacker group was threatening 9/11 attacks for showing the movie. if they get caught they will be charged as terrorists...

I don't see how they will get caught.... they're inside North Korea....

If i was the President i warn North Korea if anything happens i will push for just sanctions like how Russia is suffering right now. Plus i will order an Naval blockage around North Korea. No food,No medicine,No Oil ,Nothing gets into North Korea. If Kim Jong-Un takes any action on our vessels its an act of war.

LOL!!!!!! we've been doing that for decades. UN. South Korea. Europe. how's that working for us?

no food and no medicine = that would be very unethical, immoral and extremely politically unfavorable for any politicians to support such atrocious action. think about it - you would kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people just to hurt Kim Jong-Un into submission. do you seriously think that would make you look like a good guy? a hero? think about it.

you would be politically ruined and condemned by the world. this entire country would turn against you and kick you out of office and demand that you be charged with crimes against humanity.

North Korea, and other countries including Russia made plenty of movies mocking Obama/Bush/Clinton, and we laugh so hard, move on.

Hopefully North Korea hackers not attack AllDeaf forum after seeing this picture.

Big news because nothing like that has ever happened and the decision shows the hackers that they won.

Mod note:

Thread merged.

As long as it's the same topic, it can stay in one thread.

I posted my own thread b/c people where complaining about other links being posted in their thread and the links were being removed . I am fine with this.

No, Celebrities been tweeting that they're against Sony pulling the movie .

Celebrities just work for Hollywood - but Hollywood as a business entity has just demonstrated what a two faced, spineless organization they are....I think we should all line up to see that film when it gets released. I haven't seen an American film in the cinemas in years - but I'd pay just to tick off the fat man.....

http://uproxx.com/movies/2014/12/anonymous-north-korea-plan-release-the-interview/
It was only a matter of time before the hacker collective Anonymous put their two cents in regarding the Sony hack. Early on Friday, one of Anon’s many Twitter accounts set their sights on North Korea, the hacker group known as #GOP (aka Guardians of Peace) and Sony Pictures regarding the decision to pull The Interview from theaters. From the looks of things, they are planning on releasing the movie to the world themselves.

woot!

I suspect Sony's tactics to hold out to make everyone to be very curious about movie The Interview, and once it is released, I believe that movie will be the #1 most watched movie in 2014. Huge profit to Sony.

Who want to watch Seth Rogen in action, definitely not me, but NK outcry about this movie makes me want to watch this movie.
