It looks like you want US to get involved by walking on Ukraine's soil.

It will be extremely messy.

Same thing goes for Syria.

neither country attacked the US. leave them alone.

I doubt that Russia would want to have zero diplomatic relations with US and European countries, also I believe that Russia need American and European investors to survive.

It will be not easy decision for Russia, so right now, they seems go after Crimea.
