THE ANGEL ON MY RIGHT
In the wee hours of the morning
I wake up to the light
Of the one that makes me smile,
The angel on my right
and as I turn my head,
I revel in delight
As my heartbeat stops,
Taking in the sight
And when my day is done
My head so full of spite
My angel takes my hand,
And holds my body tight
And all my fears and worries
My mind submerged in fright
All disappear as my angel
Shines a light so bright
As the clothes unravel,
My angel doth excite
Remove my angel's halo
Our passions do ignite
Our bodies fit together
The perfect width and height
We balance like a scale,
A mirrored black and white
And every time it happens
I know it feels so right
To hold your body close
And squeeze with all my might
And as I hit my pillow,
I'm praying every night
So thankful for my special gift,
The angel on my right
Tell me what you think!
In the wee hours of the morning
I wake up to the light
Of the one that makes me smile,
The angel on my right
and as I turn my head,
I revel in delight
As my heartbeat stops,
Taking in the sight
And when my day is done
My head so full of spite
My angel takes my hand,
And holds my body tight
And all my fears and worries
My mind submerged in fright
All disappear as my angel
Shines a light so bright
As the clothes unravel,
My angel doth excite
Remove my angel's halo
Our passions do ignite
Our bodies fit together
The perfect width and height
We balance like a scale,
A mirrored black and white
And every time it happens
I know it feels so right
To hold your body close
And squeeze with all my might
And as I hit my pillow,

So thankful for my special gift,
The angel on my right
