I'm curious, I'm sure everybody else is too. What kind of job do you have? Do you like your job? What is your dream job?

Or if you're unable to get a job, having issues of landing a job (in what state, and why?)

Currently i have no job, i used to work in my aunt's restaurant as a dish washer but she took a vacation, so there's noone to keep the place open :( i liked my job, didnt have to take orders from noone haha i'd be one bad waiter since im hard of hearing. My dream job would be working as a mechanic, like automotive engineering.
 
I'm a web developer at a university. I'm HOH and verbally communicate fine under most normal situations. Things like lunch meetings at a cafe are no good for me, and some voices are more difficult than others (accents, soft spoken, higher pitch, etc). Outside of my immediate team most people don't realize I'm HOH.

Hello! My current job I have is blackjack dealer at my hometown casino, hollywood.
So far I love it, it's been 4 months since I started. I don't have a set career goal right now but maybe my current is my career, don't know, will see. :)

What exactly are you here on AllDeaf Forum? Are you d/Deaf or Hard Of Hearing (HOH)? Where are you from? This is the best way to introduce yourself. :cool2:
 
I apologize! I just barely got this, I work at Tilly's as floor sales. My dream job would be serving for my country in Military and I obviously cant do that. I'm still working on what is my dream job :)
