I recently found out about the 'Yen Carry Trade' phenomenon that is currently a *major* force in the worldwide financial markets. Thanks to the differing interest rate and currency spreads between countries, this yen carry trade can prove to be extremely lucrative. (Or ruinous!)

I was wondering if there was someone in the forums who know a little bit more about currency trading, esp. the yen carry trade, and can give out a little primer or two about their experiences, risks/benefits, etc. Thanks to the extremely high interest in the yen carry trade, I feel like shorting the Yen, banking that it will get stronger, as more positions on the yen side get flushed out.

Sold 121.00 January 29th till last Monday (116.00) closed and take profit. I am hold position for now. I am plan going buy due indicator show that yen is oversold. I am waiting for confirmation break out at 116.75 or drop deep under 115.00. It is too early to said.
