FCC Gives Stamp Of Approval For AT&T And DirecTV Merger

Who cares? I'm much more concerned about the Internet space, where the telecoms have a complete stranglehold, and there is no competition for data through tethering. I mean, come on, countries like Latvia has better average Internet access than we do!
 
It's too bad it's going through. One more corporate merger that will eventually raise the price we pay for ATT or Direct TV if we have one or the other. I won't even talk about the jobs that will be lost due to duplication of jobs that won't be needed anymore.
