Hi, im on my hoh husbands user name..we have a 7 month old daughter and we want to teach her sign language. I know a bit of ASL and my husband is fluent, and I have been signing the little words(more?, yes, no,mommy, daddy) with her whenever i speak to her. she has passed all hearing tests, so she doesnt HAVE to know to sign but i want her to. is there anything else i should do or can do to help her learn besides just using the signs with her? i have never taught anyone ASL before..shoot im still learnin lol but i didnt know if there was anythin specific i can do??

:ty::P:lol:

Just sign everything and be consistent. Babies are very good at picking up sign.

Find a group of parents wanting to teach kids ASL. Does not have to be deaf kids. Can be kids who have autism.

When Conner was little (I think he was like 1ish-2) he had over 80 signs. He picked it up very easily.
