Bedbug in your apartment building

Almost all of the apartment building that has bedbug. You live in the apartment for about 15 years and no problem until Now. They did hire the "orkin" company to spray all of the apartment.

What will you do?? That apartment is pretty cheap about 700 per monthly included electricity/heater.
 
rents the house to the dogs with bedbugs, so you can earn some money instead of spending 700 ....:giggle:

I have lived in 5 apartments since I moved out of my mother's house. I never had bed bugs. I got one tiny spider few times.
 
I would bring it up with the management...why?
 
Management knows about it and hired the "Orkin" guy to spray the stuff all over the apartment building.

It happened to my friend that she got all over rashes on her legs and neck for the first time. They told her that there are other apartment too. Ugh. The whole apartment building have bedbug.
 
spray will not kill them, they have to cover and seal the entire building and Heat it to an extreme temperature to kill them, takes a few days to complete, possibly a week and no one can come or go, empty the building and blast it with heaters... Im thinking 300 plus degrees if I remember right?

Spray won't work.

They need to seal the whole building.
 
From what I've learned, Bed Bugs are rampant in apartments, hotels. etc. Seems Exterminators are making a killing these days.....You can be "super clean"...even ur apartment, but still get Bed Bugs....

Best to enclose your mattresses and boxspring with plastic, keep articles of clothing off the floor...you can even enclose your clothes in the closet with plastic, which is a good idea I think. Bed Bugs love dark places. And I even wash before wearing any clothes I buy from the stores....
 
The management hired professional to go all the whole apartment building. They help them to seal some and move the furniture. Ugh.

We wanted to but it would have costed us $9,000. Ummm no...so I did intensive research and solved the problem on my own. It was hell work. It won't work for an apt building though.
