I thought it would be great idea for ADers that needs support to lose weight to report their weigh loss/gain every Tuesday. You don't need to put down how much you weigh.

I started on Jan. 2nd and yesterday on Tuesday I lost 3.5 lbs, totalling 11.5 lbs lost.

Congratulations Peachylady! :applause: I don't have a scale at home, I have to get one in order to know how much I lost, so right now I dunno how much I lost. :dunno:

Congratulations, Peaches!! That's a good accomplishment.

I'm all up for doing Tuesday weigh ins but won't admit my digits, just the number I've lost. Grins

That's a wonderful idea you brought up with, Peachy Lady!

The more support we get, the better we are off losing the weight together.

I don't have a scale at the moment too and whenever I can, I'd know how much I lose. So, yeah it's hard to lose the weight but sure, It's easy to gain them.

That is a great idea, PeachLady!!!

I weighted in yesterday morning and lost 1.2 lbs :) (total 51.2 lbs)

WOW Congratulations, Peachy Lady, I think it's a great idea!!...

Good idea to buy weigh scale to keep track of how much weigh. That's great, Baby Angel that you lost 1.5 lbs, totalling 51.2 lbs lost!! Congratulations!!! What kept you motivated to keep going?

I don't blame you, Gemtun...I won't say how much I weigh either, only to a few ppl I would privately.

I read the book "South Beach Diet" as per advised by my doctor. It has three phrases to go thru. Phrase 1 is the strictest for only 2 or 3 weeks, then phrase 2 (more relaxed food plan) until weigh goal is reached, then go to phrase 3 for the rest of my life. If and when I do fall off the wagon, I get back to phrase 1, if necessary 2 then 3. I also go to Curves for women to excercise. I love Curves cuz it's all women only and I don't worry about men watching my flab and boobs bouncing, no thanks!! If you're curious about South Beach diet, I would advise you to buy the book...its really interesting and not that hard diet to follow.

Come on, everyone...don't be shy. Lets all ADers who are trying to lose weight to post here and post their weight loss/gain every tuesdays. I think it's fun! Would be great to be slimmer, especially summer is coming before long!!! big smile

One of my best friends and her husband lost over 60 pounds each on South Beach. Both swear by this diet. Both found this a very easy diet to follow and maintain.

I could use all support as I am getting married this coming July!!! :)

Every time I watched "The Biggest Loser" on TV, it kept me thinking about my body that I need to lose all the fats and then start going to the "ladies riviera" fitness center (It is only ladies!!) to exercise, that is how it kept me motivated and my family supports me to get through it because they knew I can do it so I want to prove them that I can do it!

Glad to hear that you got support from your family. I watched "The Biggest Loser" tonight and felt motivated too. I will continue going to Curves every day as possible.
