I heard XBOX 2 already approved from federal and already start make the XBOX II last 2 days ago and will release on 4th quarter 2005 which mean fall or winter 2005. I would like to more information and pictures of XBOX 2, please posts in here and information share. Also XBOX 2 will release with Halo 2.5. Thanks

“The technology that powers Halo 2 has been designed from day one to take advantage of the next generation hardware,” the insider added. “In Halo 2, the Xbox was pushed to its limits but now the game will reach new heights with the advanced hardware.”
But that is not the only info our insider had for us as soon after he dropped the bomb: “Now, here is the twist. Halo 2.5 will come preloaded with the optional HDD. It’ll be one of the two reasons to get the Xbox 2 that comes with a hard drive. The other reason… well, you’ll just have to wait”
Sounds crazy to us but that’s what we have been told. Interestedly, if this is true, the rumor confirms the existence of, at least, two editions of the Xbox successor. Last month, we reported about the supposed Microsoft plan to release three versions of the Xbox successor. Although never in console history has an add-on sold enough to represent a large percentage of the install base, the inclusion of Halo 2.5 would probably sell millions of hard drives and/or other peripherals that includes this special edition.

sounds stupid if you ask me...
I personally think that Halo 2 was actually one of the best Xbox games I've ever played last year since Halo in 2001.
I don't really see any reasons for them to do a re-make on a different console just because of advanced hardware and stuff...if they really wanted to make the game exactly what they wanted, then they should've waited until Xbox 2 comes out and then release that game on Xbox 2 instead.
I would only hope that Halo 3 would still come out for Xbox before Xbox 2 and of course that Halo 4 on Xbox 2 would be something like between quake and unreal since tournuments on Halo are so dame popular there should be a tourument game based on the Halo universe...lol

Microsoft business want XBOX more powerful feature PC-Console system, capability with HDTV, and other medias. that called the "next XBOX".. I cant wait the next xbox come out soon.

Yeah I seen that. but there is limit specs of CPU and GPA..I need more clarify specs on console system as dvd and others on list you know what I talking about? I hope you or me could find more infom and more specs what XBOX 2's partsand etc soon or later!Christo said:

Enough with Xbox 2 guesses, I know you're exicted about that new generation console as I do for Nintendo's new console. Why not wait for E3 this year? More likely we'll get tons of information from E3 via magazines, news, and internet. Same thing happens to P2P and DS at E3 last year.
Halo 2.5? Sound more like expansion pack for Halo 2 to me. But dont enough to being confirmed but just rumor. Dont rush yourself until everything get clear up.
