I'm in a relationship and want to make friends

My boyfriend and I have been watching this show called switched at birth and it got us curious on how to learn sign language. I have always wanted to be friends with someone who was deaf because they could teach me a lot of things. I don't mean to sound rude about all of this but anyone who is willing to show and teach me and be my friend let me know

I'd suggest taking books out from the library or taking an ASL course. There are resources online as well. Learning another language can be difficult and time-consuming. I wouldn't want to start a friendship with someone and rely on them to teach me their language. That would be more of a teacher-student relationship. You could go to Deaf events (maybe find one on meetup.com) and meet Deaf people that way. Good luck!
