Curious why Portland turns you off?

Well, I'm not very usually with northwest USA, seems some difference from southwest USA and Portland don't have alot of thing to do, unlike in Seattle, such as limited cultural and not fully GLBT friendly as in Seattle does.

Only good thing about no sale tax but I don't visit so often.

Ohh understandable :) I have been noticing most of people who ever had lived in a city that was over 1 million usually look down at Portland, Oregon. I have a friend who have the opinion as yours, he doesn't feel like Portland was enough for him while he moved to Seattle from New York.

Haha, that's famous reason why people live in Vancouver across the river from Portland to take advantage Oregon's lack of sale tax with cheaper property tax in Washington  (btw, I don't go to Portland often neither, just go there for friends that's all..)
