Yeah, I remember arguing with a service attentant and we wanted to fill it up ourselves, lol. I noticed some of them are doing a dirty job.

Like pumping gasoline into the tank of my friend's DIESEL truck. That was a real winner.

Ouch! What's happen after that? Diesel engine can't ignite at all?

I wonder they pour the washer in the coolant reservoir or add motor oil in the ATF transmission. :eek3:

I think it ran like shit for a couple of weeks. His insurance replaced the engine at a cost of several thousand dollars.
 
And in the 50's you got your oil checked and window cleaned and the gas was pumped for you too! You did not have to pay more for this service , how we to pay extra to for it! I pump my own gas!

We need a wages comparison too. And perhaps housing prices. It's all relative.
