Where does your DeafHaven locate at? My husband and I have discussed about it and we will like to adopt a deaf dog in the future when we move to New York. So we want to see if there are other deafhavens/deaf dogs rescue like yours in other states? In california prehaps?

:)

You are doing a great job to save those dogs. I didn't know that there are such a code that requires ethuiznation of deaf puppies. Hopefully that code will be removed very soon and let those puppies live out their lives!

THANKS !! :scatter:

Deaf Paws Haven locates in Kennesaw, GA, 17 miles north from Atlanta. If anyone interest to adopt a deaf dog from me. If you are in inside Georgia, can meet me.. If you are out of state, then we will send the dog on transportation unless if a new owner couldnt wait that long, then pay a pet a flight fare.

Yes other rescues have some deaf dogs in all over places like in Texas, California, Ohio, Georgia, Florida, and New York which it depends what breed you look for.

But first, rescue policy requires to get an application form to review it then requests someone to come over your house for a home visit to investigate for my foster dog s safety due bad people take the dogs to dogfighting, you know.. I do not want that.

You can see my deafies at http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/GA343.html and http://community.webshots.com/user/saye555.

If you have any questions, feel free email me anytime at deafpaws@yahoo.com.

Thanks, Cathy
