right. no earmolds, no sound squeaking out of the ear. all sounds go directly to the internal implant via the headpiece, not through the ear like a hearing aid.

I usually get the 675's from Walgreens... works just as well/lasts as long as the Rayovacs. I did buy Rayovacs last time since they were on clearance at Walgreens, CHEAP! :)

yeah I wouldn't risk wearing the hearing aids in a pool or shower or anything, since they've only got a water resistant rating. But enjoy your new HA's!

It wouldn't be a good idea to keep the CI on 24/7 anyway, as the skin where the headpiece/magnet is at would need a break from the magnet (otherwise the skin could potentially break down/open sores)....
