Sorenson STILL laid off people after getting rates they wanted

Today, many people I know are being laid off from Sorenson today. This really suxs even after these people rallied to keep the VRS rates from dropping too low.
 
Yeah, Sorenson lay off in order to make enough profit for themselves.
 
One of the interpreter I know since high school who worked for Sorenson, recently got laid off today. It is truly unethical made by Sorenson. No warning, no hint, NOTHING! Sorenson, if you are reading this, shame on you for being GREEDY!!

I know the feeling when sorenson does it with NO warning, NO hint, NO nothing!!!
 
Sorenson.....jeez! My VP hasn't been working for over 6 months and I emailed them twice for help....haven't even heard a whisper from them!....Oh well!....Gonna keep trying....

Sorenson is a business. Their revenue stream has been cut a certain %.

It only makes sense that they would attempt to cut their expenses as close to that % as possible.

Call it greed if you want.

But if you use Sorenson and think this rate cut doesn't affect you, you are delusional.

Just to clear up any thoughts that I'm a cheerleader for Sorenson, I got my pink slip today, so I'm not feeling the love.
 
ZVRS ready for this for long time

I saw ZVRS is make sure many interpreter ready for Sorenson customer's mad at Sorenson Long wait for interpreter.

I use them and ZVRS have champ terp. Maybe Sorenson interpreter will go to The Z!

LOL! What I meant was WHOM will be laid off. If it was you and you didnt know you are among those being laid off even if you heard you company is in finacail trouble, it would suck . RIGHT?? If you didnt get the pink slip, sitting there all smug saying whew!!! it sure doesnt help those who got let go right ?

I don't ever have problem when use TRS such as IM :)
 
Well, I can't say LOL. This is not funny and I couldn't laugh at this moment as it has affected many of good friends of mine who works there.

CEO had warned that if the cuts were adopted, even if $3.89 per minute adopted he will shut down the operation. But because FCC had adopted $5.07 per minute, they had made cuts accordingly I see that they mean business.

With these cuts, it could mean longer wait when calling technical support for assistance. Even worse, when in need replacement of VP, the wait will be longer.

Those people that worked their azz off to serve with red carpet service, first class support. What I don't understand that those people are being punished for their hard working. I believe we all will see the real effect of the cuts. The longer we wait for assistance with VP, or get service will be longer and that is not functionality equilvent with hearing people who just called with wireless provider to get pager replaced and it take them in no time. Why can't Deaf like us have these equilvent?

I hope you and FCC rethink of this cuts, and those who never experience VRS may never ever experience true functionality equilvent with these cuts.

I guess that I am getting laid off by Sorenson effectively today since my sorenson account is disabled.

Area manager or regional manager will stop at your place to take all equipments in your storage. You better keep some ethernet cable wires, remote control, and some things. I have several cable wires and some routers in storage when i had left from Sorenson.
 
Sorenson center in Concord NH closed their doors today to cut employees.

Yes, I officially got laid today.

I will keep some cable wires, two remote controls, one wired router, and one switch box. Shh Shh

I will get a new phone number because I have to return my work VP back to Sorenson. Damn Sorenson HQ. I do like my VP number. Oh, well.
