I just got a Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device PPC-6700 and all the ip-relay services I use require Java...and evidently Java is a big fat hairy deal to load on this platform....
SO, here's my question: is there an ip-relay that can be used with my device without downloading Java? I am not deaf (so forgive my intrusion, but I wanted to ask the experts...the end users) but have ALS (Lou Gehrig's) and it has affected my speech so I can no longer talk clearly enough to use a conventional cell phone. I know that I could use AIM on my device, and that several relay services offer service for Blackberry or Sidekick. Should I just try to return my phone and get one of those??? I'm old enough I still type out most words vs. using all the "text msg shorthand" so it slows me down vs. ya'll young-whipper-snapers (I'm 45!) ![]() ![]() Thanks for your input. |
