Tips: Fastest communicate with relay svc.

I decide to give some tips. I don't know if anyone would thought of something.

***NOTE: It's for non-video relay svc***

Whatever I'm call such as I aware of my problem on something or order something. IMPORTANT thing is... BE PREPARE!

I had to write note under TextEdit (alternative as Notepad, since I'm Mac user). Anyway, I type the begin introduce about the problem after I know the question usually goes "how can I help you today? yada yada?" So, I know how to answer it as you do. And I add several sentence that I may need to tell to customer service, just in case.

And I have to be sure, I had telephone number by copy/paste to make call. I use IP-RELAY, since it's my current strong prefer. Because I love typing. Don't ya? Anyway, when I made the call and the agent via customer service reply, I copy the sentence I had from note and paste. Volia! It's there, it's like I typing too fast as agent would thought it's impossible and but reply MUCH QUICK to person on phone.

However, when person ask the random question that I may know to answer, I typing in notepad since it keep blah blah blah and I don't feel like I want to interrupt until there is "GA" in there. After I finish typing and I copy setence and paste in box after see "ga" appear. volia! I reply quick. ta da!

It save my time and give good satisfactory with agent. In my experience, it's fastest I have done, compaer to video since I hate to spell it out for them to make sure my darn hand is clear.

I do the same thing on my sidekick notes, I usually use it to check my voicemail thru IP-Relay to my cell phone(sidekick) when I'm not home to use VRS, I hate repeating instructing operators what to do to check my voicemail so I simply copy and paste from my notes onto ip-replay and within 2 minutes I'm done calling...

I use IP Relay via AIM and I just type everything out ahead of time or type out the answer to question asked by other end but I don't hit enter on the keyboard until I see a GA to send it to the Relay.

Nice tips.. I've got a few that will make those ANNOYTING recording alot shorter.

First when calling a place that you know has a recording example Dell. Give us as much info before the call is place (not 'live rep' as this is annoying and usually can't happen without info anyways.) Prove account numbers and why you are calling. Like I would be calling dell to make a payment. So when i call into IP relay I would give them these instructions:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX (<~acct nbr) Make a payment

Just providing those 2 simple things can save 5-10 minutes.
