The very first thing I did was go out and purcase a webcam, but I have a tiny lap top, my internet connection is a highspeed DSL but the frames were jumpy, so i figured it must be the camera I bought, I also didnt like having to sit infront of my little tiny screen to see my friends sign. Its also harder to catch people online than to catch them through VP, tv.

that is why i asked about VP's if i wanted to talk through my computer and webcam or AIM I would have asked about webcams.

There is a problem with DSL not a webcam. VP may not work very well with DSL service. You may need a high speed Internet cable service....
