My tv stopped working so I needed to get a new one. I needed a tv that I could use with my Tv ears or actually the better version of TV ears. A german company that makes them. The plug I needed was an RCA plug and the tv had to have an audio analog out.
The new flat screen tvs have a digital audio out.
I found that Visio had analog audio out in there models that were not there top ranked ones.
the E model and the M model had audio out.
I spent hours checking TVs to find one that I could use. There is something that you can buy to convert digital signal to audio signal. I didn't want to take the chance or the money to invest.
I hope this helps someone who is looking for a TV that he can use with their TV ears.
My old Tv works amazing except for the fact it has no audio. It gets closed captioning and the picture is great. If someone wants it and lives near Philadelphia they can have it.
Has anyone used the converter that changes digital audio to analog and how did it work?

I just bought a Vizio Smart TV D series. It is nice and clear sound. I still do have to have the close captions on. I have not had it long enough to say all of the feature are great but so far it is real nice. No their models are not the top ranked ones. It is a on and off button on back of the TV if needed to reset your TV.

You may want to buy Digital Optical to Analog RCA audio converter/adapter from Amazon. I own a ButtKicker Advance with amplifier box system for many years that required RCA plug until I got a new TV and found out that does not have one. After figuring it out, I bought Digital Optical to RCA adapter from Amazon and it works well.

2 years old LG is broken. It blinks, but the audio works. I am told the parts are fried. What a ripoff. Will never buy another LG TV again.

I have Samsung LED Smart TV... I'm happy with it, never had any issues. My last TV was LG and it developed a yellow line on the screen but TV still works, gave it to my sister to use as temporary in her room when I bought my Samsung. She has since bought a big sized Samsung LED Smart TV and got rid of LG TV.
