Stupid comments

Through-out the years I've got really stupid comments about being deaf. Luckily I have a sense of humor and laugh them off, other times it just pisses me off. My favorite comment of all time is 'you don't look deaf', well I didn't realise there is a dress code XD Does anyone else get these stupid comments ?
 
I get you don't look deaf/hoh or people shout at me. My favorite on is when I use my once but my husband signs back people asked 'if you can talk why do you sign, it makes you look like you are saying bad things'
 
I'm pretty up front with people about my hearing, so I don't get any really stupid questions or comments (at least that I have heard). One time when I was going through security at the airport one of the TSA people asked me what my glasses were for? I looked at him and with a stunned look on my face told him, SO I CAN SEE!

i get the 'how can you drive if your deaf' comment all the time . Last time i checked i still have eyes !:laugh2:
 
Oh hell... I've been accused of not being deaf (in a subtle way...) but them saying "but you talk/speak too well to be deaf!!!"

Me being too nice - never said anything or couldn't come up with anything too quick... maybe now I would.

No one can see a deaf gal/guy for beauty! Come on!! it's not in physical attributes that they can someone who's deaf; it's invisible.

I had some people said that I don't look deaf....My reply..... "Oh yeah I'm glad you said that I don't look deaf anymore because I just had a face lift, do I look great now!!??"

LMAO! Honestly though, if we outlawed stupid comments we could get rid of twitter and facebook. I just don't pay that much attention.

Do u have glide and wanna make a new friend. I'm about to go to Gallaudet University which is all deaf college
