Time to abolish the tax return and let our government take care of taxes, also deduction and exemption will be automatically applies, also all charities and anything related to taxes are electronically reported to IRS. If excess so you will get refund from letter.

No more audit because IRS has to figure it out, not us.

This has been going on for several years now and people keep falling for it even after the IRS has gone on TV and even pulled adds in local papers telling people it's a scam and they will never call you demanding money. I've had these scammers call and demand money and then when I asked for my name and ss# they couldn't come up with it. If you want a good chuckle just ask them for their name and employee ID #, I did and the guy gave me a number and when I told him he missed a few digits, he first didn't know what a digit was and then tried to give me another number, that's when I started laughing and hung up. If you get one of these jokers on the phone ignore them and hang up, it's not real!

The demand for payment by gift cards is also a huge red flag.
